NSR Press Conference, Jakarta (May 24, 2007)
On May 24th, NSR Productions held a press conference at Bondie's Cafe in Jakarta, Indonesia. The purpose of the event was to promote awareness of the Dangdut in America project that NSR produced in early 2007. The press event was attended by artists from the Indonesian Dangdut Organization (Dewan Pimpinan Pusat Persatuan Artis Musik Maleyu Dangdut Indonesia), including well-known dangdut singers - Rhoma Irama (the self-proclaimed king of dangdut), Camelia Maliq, A. Rafiq, Iis Dahlia, Ozik, and Kristina. During the press event, NSR president (Rissa Asnan) was named as a representative of Indonesian Dangdut Organization in the United States and recognized for her contributions in promoting Dangdut music outside of Indonesia. At the press conference, there was a screening of the Dangdut in America pilot video and after the showing, artists and press held a question and answer session with NSR represented by Rissa Asnan.
